Description
The concert hall was built in 1896/97 based on designs by the famous Viennese theater architects Fellner & Helmer and has been a listed building since 1988 due to its artistically and historically valuable stage sets. The building was designed for theater performances and concerts. To this day, guests can enjoy guest performances by various regional theaters and touring theaters. Classical concerts, entertainment and comedy events as well as company parties in an upscale atmosphere also take place here. The centerpiece of the building is a richly decorated hall in the neo-baroque style, which offers space for 327 spectators. A surrounding gallery with boxes offers space for a further 168 people. There is also a small hall that can be used as a foyer during intermissions or for smaller receptions as part of an event in the Great Hall.
