Description
The Schwörsaal in Ravensburg impresses with its historic ambience and its location in the middle of Ravensburg's city center. On Marienplatz, surrounded by the town hall and the Lederhaus, the hall is the ideal venue for many types of events in an upscale atmosphere with up to 330 guests. The oath hall is located on the first floor of the historic weigh house. The building was built in 1496. The approximately 400 square meter large hall is decorated with 14 dark wooden supports that create a pleasant contrast to the light walls. As part of the lighting renovation in the Schwörsaal in 2022/23, the entire hall lighting was renewed and converted to LED with funding from the National Climate Protection Initiative. The energy-efficient direct and indirect LED hanging lamps "Supernova" from GDS were installed. Together with the built-in control system with which the high-quality lights are switched and dimmed as needed, the power consumption for the lighting was reduced by around 39,500 kWh. This corresponds to a reduction in power consumption of 78.97 percent. The well-arranged lights create a modern and contemporary impression that fits well into the late Gothic flair of the hall.
