Description
The former bathing hall not only houses the JenaKultur works management and parts of the VHS course rooms , but is also ideal for meetings, celebrations and experiencing culture. The public bath was officially opened on March 31, 1909 and was available to guests for bathing, sweating and swimming for a long time. After the beloved bathing temple was closed in 2001, it was reopened in 2007 after extensive renovation and has since established itself as a place for special events in Jena. Since January 2010, evening and children's events have been held under the Volksbad label.
